I say I hate clutter and I do, but I have it. One of my biggest clutter collector is my bedroom and I’m going to start tacking that one necklace at a time.
Five years ago I used to tell people that I had all the jewelry I needed. I have my 2 diamond earrings, my diamond pendant necklace and the diamond on my ring finger.
Then I decided that I think necklaces put an outfit together. So I started buying a necklace almost every time I shopped for clothes. I have a jewelry box, but it is small and my necklace choices are big. Needless to say, I need a solution.
I have 5 picture frames that I am going to use to do this project. Each will be a little different, but the idea is the same. I want a wall of necklace hangers in my closet.
Supplies Needed:
Picture Frames
Cork Tile
Sheets of Scrapbook Paper
Push Pins– cabinet or dresser knobs
Precision Utility Knife
Instructions:
1- Remove back from picture frame and take out glass.
2- Cut Cork Tile and scrapbook paper to fit the inside of picture frame
3- Insert Scrapbook paper first in the picture frame, then Cork Tile.
4- Push 6 push pins in the scrapbook paper
5- Hang Jewelry on hooks
6- Hang frame on wall
Only 4 more to go. I think I am going to use cabinet knobs the next time, push pins will hold the lighter items, but the rest of my jewelry is heavier.
